“Dreck in die Wunde” (Dirt in the Wound), is a series of living and transformative sculptures. It is characterised by novel processing techniques of growing substrates and is symbolic of the human body with all its vulnerable sides.
Various human body parts are transformed into living sculptures that change over time as the seeds embedded in the sculptures grow and transform. These figures are placed in public spaces and left to the elements and the care of the public.
Three works are exhibited in the garden of Körnerpark, with the kind support of the Ausstellungsfonds Kommunale Galerien und Fonds. This series of public sculptures can be found by an interactive online map, made possible by the Programm NEUSTART KULTUR Modul D - Digitale Vermittlungsformate.
